Quiksilver Festival 2024

After an absurdly fun first edition, the Quiksilver Festival returns from September 21-29, 2024. Jeremy Flores handpicked an international mix of surfers to hit the iconic beaches of Capbreton, Hossegor & Seignosse. With surf, skate, art, music and more, there’s something for everyone and good times for all.

Surf Fast

The legend himself, Jeremy Flores, handpicked 24 of the world's best surfers to show up and blow up in Southwest France.

Surfers will team up in pairs, and each team will have to leave their mark across multiple surfs in an expression session format.

With a waiting period of 10 days, the comp only requires four run days. This format lets the surfers get the best possible conditions at the iconic beachies of Capbreton, Hossegor and Seignosse.

At the end, the team with the most accumulated points will be crowned champion and, presumably, pay everyone else's bar tab.

Skate

Just like the surf comp, the skate event will feature a format that encourages creativity and self-expression. Think: death race, fun challenges, cash for tricks and more...

Rock Hard

Ready to close out summer with a bang? The Quiksilver Festival is way more than a surf contest.

Music. Parties. Films. Skateboarding. And more. Every night, you'll have an excuse to hit the town.

SKEGSS

The surf rock band Skegss from Byron Bay has been energizing audiences since 2014 with their high-energy, punk-inspired anthems. Featuring Ben Reed (vocals, guitar) and Jonny Lani (drums), they capture coastal life. Their live shows are legendary, and this year, they’re back in the studio creating new tracks for your next surf trip.

CLUB AZUR

Club Azur is a musical collective you can't miss. Founded in 2020 by Kungs and Victor Flash, it quickly made its mark on the French electronic scene with a captivating blend of house, disco and electro, enriched with Italo-disco influences.

SHIMMY

Dimity Stoyle is a surfer by day and a DJ by night from Queensland, Australia. A formidable presence both in the surf and behind the decks, she has made a name for herself on the WSL's Championship Tour with her powerful surfing. When she's not riding waves, Dimity becomes Shimmy, spreading infectious positive energy at festivals and parties around the world.

POUPIE

Poupie is a French artist, performer, and composer known for her unique visual and musical style. Her debut album, Enfant Roi, featuring collaborations with Jul and Mexican singer Guaynaa, propelled her to the top of the French music scene.

ANTIGONE

At the forefront of the French techno scene, Antigone leads a new generation of electronic music producers and DJs. Today, he focuses on the hardgroove movement of the early 2000s, offering a refreshing contrast to the BPM race that has taken over the scene.

VICTOR FLASH

Victor Flash is a young French producer and co-founder of Club Azur, which he launched with his friend Kungs during the COVID confinement of 2020. His latest release, "You Can Have It," a collaboration with Kungs, promises to deliver another memorable night out.

Opening Party

Screening Of The Documentary "STRoNG

Let's come together for a screening of the film 'STRoNG: As Strong as Fragile', followed by a discussion with Jérémy Flores. This documentary explores mental health in competitive sports and features Camille Lacourt, Ysaora Thibus, Jérémy Flores, Perrine Laffont and Valentin Porte.

Beach Cleaning

Join us for a beach cleaning with Save the Mermaid Foundation from 2 PM to 4 PM. We'll also host an environmental awareness workshop with the Water Family, Oceneo, Tearing Waves and Apex Cetacea.

Meet The Surfers & Concert Europe 2

It's time for the notorious signing session. Starting at 6 PM at the Quiksilver store in Hossegor, you can meet your favorites like Jérémy Florès, Kauli Vaast, Marc Lacomare, Lungi Slabb, Hughie Vaughan and many more. From there, we'll take over the city center of Hossegor for the Europe 2 concert!

Roxy Jam - Party Wave

Meet us at 10:00 am at "Place de l'Estacade" in Capbreton to set a new world record "The largest 100% female paddle out and party wave" for an ode to nature and women. Come with your surfboard, a team will be there to welcome you Registration required.

Swatch Skate & BMX Demo

Longboard enthusiast, surf skate fan or skateboard enthusiast, Swatch riders Lotfi Lamaali, Val Laforge, Andy Anderson and Matthias Dandois will be present for initiations, coaching and demos in their respective disciplines of Longboard, Surf Skate, Skate and BMX. Be there or be square !

Challenges & Cash for Tricks

We'll mix things up with Skate Challenges, Death Race and Cash for Tricks at Le Penon in Seignosse, featuring the Element skate team. Don't miss the new custom-built modules added to the park!

Closing Party by Deezer

For the closing party, Deezer will take over with a 100% Club Azur lineup: Antigone, Victor Flash, Edd and Gero. Get ready for an epic finale with house, techno and Italo-disco beats!
